    • PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing middle distillates improving productivity and selectivity for gasoline of the middle fraction is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing middle distillate is a method of converting into heavy feedstock hydrocarbon raw material improved in selectivity with regard to middle distillates (LCO) which has the distillation range of 220 °C to 360 °C. A method of converting heavy feedstock hydrocarbon raw material uses at least one selective hydrogenation apparatus following a fluid cat-cracker (FCC). The raw material of the selective hydrogenation apparatus is comprised of a heavy distillate cut (HCO) obtained from FCC and has the distillation range of 320 °C to 490 °C. A HCO cut selectively hydrogenated is re-introduced into an active zone of a FCC apparatus. The task of the selective hydrogenation apparatus is performed with a hydrotreating catalyst including nickel ranging from 1 to 10 weight% and molybdenum ranging from 1 to 30 weight% on a alumina carrier at a temperature ranging from 325 °C to 360 °C and a pressure ranging from 15 to 50 bar.
