    • PURPOSE: A novel silane compound and an adhesive composition containing the same are provided to ensure durability and to prevent excessive adhesion at high temperature and high humidity. CONSTITUTION: A novel silane compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. The silane compound is 4-bromoacetoacetic acid-(3-trimethoxysilyl)-ethyl ester. The silane compound of chemical formula 1 is prepared by reacting a compound of chemical formula 3 with bromination reagent or chlorination reagent in an organic solvent. An adhesive composition contains an adhesive resin, crosslinking agent, and the silane compound of chemical formula 1. The silane compound is contained in 0.03-6 weight parts based on 100 weight parts of adhesive resin.

The resist composition comprises the silicone resin, a photoacid generator, and an organic solvent. The patterning method comprises the steps of: (a) applying the resist composition onto a substrate to form a resist layer; (b) heat-treating the resist layer and exposing it to high energy radiation having a wavelength of up to 300 nm or electron beam through a photomask; and (c) optionally heat-treating the exposed resist layer, and developing it with a developer.

    • Provided are silicone oil which is adequate for an insulating liquid composition for liquid lens, and an insulating liquid composition comprising the same which satisfies density, refractive index, surface tension and viscosity required as a fluid for liquid lens and is able to contain the minimum amount of an organic additive, thereby minimizing the bad influence of the organic additive. The insulating liquid composition for liquid lens comprises 85-90 wt.% of silicone oil represented by the formula(1), (2) or (3)(wherein each R1 to R6 is independently phenyl which is substituted by alkyl or halogen or a substituent selected from the group consisting of silanol, alkyl or alkoxy having molecular weight of less than 200), and 10-15 wt.% of an organic additive. The liquid lens module comprises a transparent cover, a case containing an electrolytic solution and an insulating solution, an electrode for supplying electricity to the electrolytic solution, and an insulating film for covering one side of the electrode contacting with the electrolytic solution, wherein the insulating solution is the insulating liquid composition.
