    • PURPOSE: A movie camera for capturing solid image and a method for capturing solid image are provided to capture solid image for displaying image on an image display medium three-dimensionally and allow the public to appreciate solid image through any image display medium in any place. CONSTITUTION: A movie camera for capturing solid image includes a camera body(10), a lens mounting part(20) and an image input part(30). The camera body has prescribed components required for capturing image. The lens mounting part is detachably mounted at a front portion of the camera body and a plurality of lenses for making image of a subject pictured on an image recording part of the camera body. The image input part receives image of the subject divided into right eye image and left eye image according to visual difference between two eyes of a person and provides the right eye image and the left eye image to the lens mounting part to continuously record in the camera body.

    • Provided are a method for processing a stereoscopic image using singular value decomposition (SVD) and an apparatus using the same. The method for processing a stereoscopic image comprises the steps of calculating a singular value for each of two images of different viewpoints forming a stereoscopic image by performing SVD for each of the two images; creating an average histogram equalization image by performing histogram equalization for the stereoscopic image; calculating a singular value for the histogram equalization image by performing SVD for the histogram equalization image, and calculating a singular value for control using the singular value for the histogram equalization image; and processing the two images using the singular value for each of the two images and the singular value for control. Further, contrast enhancement and noise removal can be simultaneously performed by applying parameters for noise removal.
