    • A device and a method for receiving a signal in a communication system are provided to improve decoding performance of the LDPC(Low Density Parity Check) code by decoding the signal by controlling the operation according to a specific bit node sequence in a communication system using an LDPC decoder. If the LDPC code transmitted from the signal transmitter includes an information vector and a parity vector, the bit node operation sequence is determined using the puncturing of the information bits included in the information vector and the degree of the parity bits included in the parity vector among the bit nodes on a bipartite graph of the LDPC code.
