The first to fourth lens groups are moved when a lens position is changed from an optical angle state having the shortest focus distance to a telephoto state having the longest focus distance. The second lens group is moved upwardly and the third lens group is moved toward an object so that a gap between the first lens group and the second lens group is increased and a gap between the second lens group and the third lens group is reduced. The fourth lens group is moved to an optical axis direction to compensate a position change of an upper plane. The first lens group is located nearer to an object in an optical angle state than in the telephoto state. The second lens group has a negative lens of a meniscus shape having a concave plane and an aspheric plane on an upper part, and a positive lens of the meniscus shape having a concave lens and a convex surface.
