    • PURPOSE: A multi-axial vibration tester is provided to obtain proper strength of a strut bar capable of sufficiently transferring power of an actuator to a specimen and the inertial force minimally influencing the operation of the actuator. CONSTITUTION: A multi-axial vibration tester comprises a vibration table(20), a specimen fixing tool(30), a vertical direction vibration tool(50), and horizontal direction vibration tools(40,60). The vibration table is mounted on a base(10). The vertical direction vibration tool adds vibration to a specimen fixed by the specimen fixing tool in a vertical direction. The horizontal direction vibration tools add vibration to the specimen in a horizontal direction. The each vibration tool comprises linear actuators and strut bars(42,52). The linear actuators are mounted on the base.

CONSTITUTION: A device for testing ride comfort of a railway vehicle using a roller rig comprises a roller rig(110), a test vehicle body(120), and a vibration simulating member(140). The roller rig simulates a driving of a test cart for the ride comfort test. The test vehicle body is connected to the test cart, thereby being evaluated. The vibration simulating member simulates vibration features in the rear part of the test vehicle body.

    • A vibration simulation apparatus is provided to couple an elastic member to the exterior of a piston rod so as to prevent generation of irregular vibrations due to collision of a piston with the inner wall of a cylinder. A vibration simulation apparatus includes a support frame, a cylinder mechanism(20), a test bed, and a cylinder drive part. The cylinder mechanism is connected to the support frame at its one end. The test bead is connected to the other end of the cylinder mechanism to fix a product to be tested. The cylinder drive part is connected to the cylinder mechanism to resiliently drive the cylinder mechanism. The cylinder mechanism includes a cylinder(21), a piston(22), and a piston rod(23). The cylinder has first and second air ports(21a,21b). The piston divides the inner space of the cylinder into first and second chambers(21c,21d). The piston rod is connected to the piston and extends out of the cylinder. An elastic member(50) is provided to prevent the piston rod from colliding with the inner wall of the cylinder.

    • PURPOSE: A large triaxial vibration test apparatus is provided to secure the safety of various civil structures by using in the evaluation of the safety, the design and the construction of a new civil structure. CONSTITUTION: A triaxial chamber(100) has a test piece(S) therein. A restrictive pressure generator(200) gives the isotropic pressure to be changed from the pneumatic pressure to the water pressure into the test piece. A perpendicular stocking device gives the compressive pressure to the test piece vertically. A hydraulic pressure generator(400) operates the perpendicular stocking device. An electric measuring and controlling device(500) measures the perpendicular load, the perpendicular displacement, the restrictive pressure, the gap water pressure, the volume change of the test piece according to the operation of the perpendicular stocking device and controls the triaxial chamber and the perpendicular stocking device according to testing conditions. Thereby, an input parameter for a design, a construction and a movement analysis is checked exactly.
