    • PURPOSE: A novel pollination method using bumblebee and a method for enhancing pollination efficiency are provided to resolve problems of convention pollination using flies and to develop scallion. CONSTITUTION: A pollination method of crops comprises: a step of adding bumblebee near a plant; and a step of placing 40-50% sugar ingredient-containing solution near the plant. The plant is scallion. The sugar ingredient includes sugar, honey water, raw sugar, starch syrup, or fruit juice. A method for enhancing pollination efficiency comprises a step of feeding the sugar ingredient-containing solution into a pollination-mediating insect.     • A method for improving chestnut tree is provided to increase the size of chestnut and also increase carbohydrate and individuals of nut, thereby contributing to possession of an excellent species and improvement of farmhouse income. The method comprises the steps of: (a) after selecting a natural wide type chestnut tree and removing all trees other than the selected one, grafting an excellent species on the selected tree; (b) after removing all the grafted chestnut tree, grafting an excellent species thereon to prevent fertilization by insects and allow artificial fertilization; (c) after grafting an excellent species on the two-times grafted chestnut tree, taking pollens of three kinds of the grafted excellent species and then artificially fertilizing the tree with those pollens; and (d) after removing chestnuts other than excellent species chestnuts from the three-times grafted chestnut tree, grafting a branch with dominant characteristics taken out of the tree on a chestnut tree and leaving it to be self-fertilized.
