    • The present invention provides an uninterruptible LED lighting device for emergency and a control method thereof, the device comprising: a power outage detection unit which supplies commercial power as operating power, and detects and outputs the outage of the commercial power; a microcomputer which outputs an emergency discharge control signal according to an outage detection signal detected by the power outage detection unit, and outputs an LED lighting control signal; an LED control unit for controlling the lighting of an LED lighting consisting of a plurality of LEDs according to the LED lighting control signal of the microcomputer; and a charging device unit which rapidly charges a super capacitor therein by using the commercial power of the power outage detection unit, and performs a discharge operation for the LED lighting according to the emergency discharge control signal of the microcomputer in case of outage. The present invention as described above enables an LED lighting device to be always driven in an uninterruptible state by charging a super capacitor with large capacitance in normal times and performing immediate discharge when the outage of commercial power is detected such that the LED lighting can be rapidly driven at all times even in emergency situations irrespective of the outage of the commercial power by installing an uninterruptible LED lighting device having a super capacitor in a place needing an uninterruptible lighting device. Consequently, the safety of emergency power is maximized.
