    • PURPOSE: A conductive polymer capacitor having a complex dielectric is provided to enhance the capacitor performance characteristic by forming a complex dielectric on the surface of the anode foil. CONSTITUTION: An Al-based conductive polymer capacitor has an anode foil(10) and a cathode foil(40). An electrolyte sheet(30) is inserted between the anode foil(10) and the cathode foil(40). The one-sided surface area of an anode foil(10) is widened through etching. A dielectric layer(12) is formed on the etched surface of the anode foil(10) with a dielectric sol solution. The dielectric sol solution is prepared by mixing an Al2O3 solution with Nb2O5 solution for a predetermined period of time. The dielectric sol solution is coated onto the surface of the anode foil(10) such that a complex dielectric is formed on the surface of the anode foil(10).
