    • The present invention relates to an apparatus for recording and reproducing holographic data, which can record or reproduce holographic data at high speed. The apparatus includes a light source; a shutter which transmits or blocks light generated by the light source; a light splitter which splits the light transmitting the shutter into signal light and reference light; a spatial light modulator which records data on a recording medium by modulating the signal light; and a reflector which reflects the reference light to the recording medium. The shutter includes a first shutter having a first hole, and a second shutter arranged to face the first shutter and having a second hole. The shutter can block light by moving the first shutter in a first direction and moving the second shutter in a second direction, and can transmit light by moving the first shutter in a second direction and moving the second shutter in a first direction.
