    • PURPOSE: A dry dust collection system in the postprocess of a foundry or steel casting factory is provided to obtain more than 95% of instant discharging effect of dust generated by adopting a downward exhaustion method. CONSTITUTION: The dry dust collection system in the postprocess of a foundry or steel casting factory comprises a diffuser(2) for delivering the external air toward the bottom surface of a workplace; several perforated plates(3) which are installed on the bottom surface of the workplace(1) so that various dusts are smoothly dropped into a dust collection chamber(4) formed on the bottom surface of the workplace(1); a filter and vibrating unit(5) which is installed on the upper part of one side of the dust collection chamber(4) to filter dust with large particles contained in the air inside the dust collection chamber(4); a dust collector(7) for collecting the dust with fine particles passing through the filter and vibrating unit(5); a screw transfer unit(8) which is installed at the lower part of the dust collection chamber(4) to transfer sand dust with relatively large particles dropped onto the bottom surface of the collection chamber(4) toward the bucket elevator(9); a bucket elevator(9) which is vertically installed between an outlet of the screw transfer unit(8) and the ground to transfer the sand dust transferred through the screw transfer unit(8) toward the disposing and retreating facility(10) on the ground in the state that the sand dust is sealed so that it is not scattered; a disposing and retreating facility(10) which is installed on the ground to dispose or retreat the collected dust by collecting dust transferred through the bucket elevator(9); and a vibrating motor which is installed on the inclined surface part of one side of the dust collection chamber(4) so that various dusts easily slide down along the inclined surface part of the dust collection chamber(4).

    • PURPOSE: A wet dust collection system in the postprocess of a foundry or steel casting factory is provided to obtain more than 90 to 95% of discharging effect of dust generated by adopting a downward exhaustion and water circulation method. CONSTITUTION: The wet dust collection system in the postprocess of a foundry or steel casting factory comprises an upper duct(2) exhausting fume gas contained in air inside workplace to the outside; several perforated plates(3) which are installed on the bottom surface of the workplace(1) so that various dusts are smoothly dropped into a dust collection chamber(4) the bottom of which is inclined to one side; a filter and vibrating unit(5) for filtering dust with large particles in the various dusts contained in the air inside the dust collection chamber(4); a dust collector(7) for collecting dust by sucking in through a duct(6) the dust with fine particles passing through the filter and vibrating unit(5) by strong sucking action; a filter conveyor(8) for flowing the dust passing through the filter together with circulating water toward the precipitation tank(9) and transferring metallic sludge together with dust with relatively large particles that does not pass through the filter toward an external sludge disposing treater(12); a precipitation tank(9) precipitating varieties of dusts contained in the circulating water by containing the circulating water passing through the filter conveyor(8); a circulating water pump(10) forcibly circulating water overflown from the precipitation tank(9) toward the dust collection chamber(4) again; and a magnetic separator(11) which is installed between the filter conveyor(8) and the sludge disposing treater(12) to separate metallic dust contained in the sludge, thereby send the separated metallic dust to a melting furnace.
