    • PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for estimating multi-antenna radio channels are provided to accurately estimate channel parameters generated from the noises and measuring errors of a measuring system by analyzing channel parameters estimated by paths and verifying the estimated result. CONSTITUTION: A channel measuring part(12) measures multi-antenna radio channel property. An estimation initializing part(14) estimates channel parameters by paths based on radio channel measured data and estimates noises and regenerate estimating signals. An estimation repeating part(16) estimates the channel parameter per path with respect to the estimating signals with the estimated noises and repeats the noise estimation and the estimating signal regeneration.

    • PURPOSE: A channel parameter estimator and method thereof are provided to measure a channel through the signal of a real effective signal area and to diminish the whole computational complexity. CONSTITUTION: A signal selection unit(310) selects reception data based on the reception power of data that is received from a data receiving unit(300). A power grasping unit(312) grasps noise power about a noise signal within the received data. A signal power determination unit(314) determines effective signal power from grasped noise power. A parameter estimation unit(320) applies a channel estimation algorithm.
