    • PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to improve washing performance by integrally forming a rising water current guide to a dehydrating tub, effectively filter out foreign materials, prevent damage of the laundry, and reduce the manufacturing cost and manufacturing time. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine has a housing forming the exterior; a water tub installed inside the housing to house washing water; a dehydrating tub(30) rotatably disposed inside the water tub; and a pulsator installed inside the dehydrating tub to produce a washing-water current. The dehydrating tub integrally forms a floor plate(40), and a body part(50) extended from outer periphery of the floor plate upward. A rising water current guide(60), to guide the current produced by the pulsator to the upper part of the dehydrating tub, is integrally formed to the inner wall surface of the body part. The rising water current is longitudinally extended from the floor plate of the dehydrating tub to the upper part of the body part of the dehydrating tub. A washing water inlet(61), in which washing flows, is formed between the floor plate of the dehydrating tub and the lower end of the rising water current guide. An aperture(31) is formed in the rear of the washing water inlet. A cover(70), to prevent outflow of washing water and to guide washing water to the upper part of the dehydrating tub, is combined to the aperture.

CONSTITUTION: A method for sensing unbalance of a washing machine includes a motor speed raising step of raising the speed of a motor to a prescribed rpm(S2), an input voltage sensing step of sensing the variation of AC input voltage by an input voltage sensing means(S3), an input current sensing step of sensing ripple current of AC input current by an input current sensing means(S4), a current ripple width determining step of obtaining the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the sensed ripple current and determining whether or not the current ripple width is over a prescribed values(S5), an eccentricity relaxation operating step(S1) of performing the eccentricity relaxation operation of laundries if the current ripple width is over the prescribed value, an unbalanced weight enumerating step of enumerating unbalanced weight according to the input voltage value sensed in the input voltage sensing step if the current ripple width is below the prescribed value(S6), and a dehydration operating step of performing dehydration operation by controlling the speed of the motor according to the unbalanced weight(S7).
