    • A multiple input/output communications method and a multiple input/output communications system using the same are provided to maximize data transfer rate by allocating non-selection beam forming vector to a non-selection user by using channel quality information. A selection beam foaming vector decision unit(310) determines a selection beam foaming vector corresponding to the selected user based on the channel quality information fed back from a plurality of users. The selection beam foaming vector decision unit determines a selection beam forming vector through a PU2RC(Per User Unitary Rate Control) technique. In case of assigning non-selection beam forming vector by using the channel quality information, the performance information generator(320) produces the capability information. The channel vector estimating unit(321) estimates the channel vector corresponding to non-selection user based on the channel quality information. A capability information calculation unit(322) calculates the capability information by using the channel vector.

    • A codebook generation method for a multi-polarized MIMO(Multi Input Multi Output) system and a device therefore are provided to generate a precoding matrix when antennas have multi-polarization by using a single-polarized precoding matrix, thereby generating a high-performance precoding matrix even by simpler operation. A single-polarized precoding matrix is assigned to diagonal blocks of plural blocks divided according to the number of polarized directions of transmission antennas(S210). A zero matrix is assigned to the rest of the blocks except the diagonal blocks(S220). A precoding matrix is generated by combining the zero matrix assigned to the rest of the blocks with the single-polarized precoding matrix assigned to the diagonal blocks(S230). The precoding matrix is reconfigured by selecting at least one column vector included in the precoding matrix according to transmission ranks corresponding to the number of data streams to be transmitted(S240-S260).
