    • PURPOSE: A camera module is provided to omit focus adjusting processes of a camera module by freely adjusting a focus according to the convenience of a user. CONSTITUTION: A camera module comprises a housing(10), a lens module(40), a cam(30), and an actuating barrel(20). The housing is coupled on a substrate with an image sensor. The lens module comprises one or more lenses. The cam is formed inside the housing. The actuating barrel accepts the lens module. The actuating barrel is coupled on the cam to be slid. The actuating barrel rotates along the cam according to a user's operation and linearly moves.

    • A camera module is provided to miniaturize a size of the camera module, prevent defective appearance of the camera module and improve external connectability, thereby reducing a defect ratio. A plurality of connecting holes(10a) is formed on a side of a substrate(10). A side pad(11) is formed in the connecting hole. The connection hole is for side connection according to an automatic method of a camera module. Image sensors such as CMOS or CCD are mounted on the substrate. Various electronic elements for driving the image sensor and a passive element(60) increasing the performance of the image sensors are mounted on the substrate. The passive element is mounted on an upper external side of the connecting hole of upper external part.

A camera module(100) comprises a barrel-integrated housing(110), a cap(120) and a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(130). The barrel-integrated housing has openings(114a) in the upper and lower end portions. The cap is joined to the upper end of the housing. The PCB has an image sensor mounted in the center portion and is closely attached to the opening portion of the lower end of the housing. At least one focus fixing lens(115) are laminatedly joined to the inside of the housing.
