    • The aromatic polyamide pulp is produced by (a) introducing an inorganic salt i.e. CaCl2, LiCl, NaCl, KCl and/or KBr to an amide and/or an urea organic solvent to make a polymeric solvent, (b) dissolving aromatic diamine in the polymeric solvent to make an aromatic diamine soln., (c) introducing aromatic diacid chloride to the soln. to produce a first polymer soln., (d) adding a ternary amine solvent to the soln., (e) introducing residual aromatic diacid chloride to the soln. to make a second polymer soln., (f) continuously protruding the second soln. (g) maturing the protruded soln., at 25-100≦̸C for 0.5-5 hr, and (g) grinding and drying the matured polymer and a solidifying liquor in the pulping device.

    • This is new aromatic polyamide pulp whose phisical property is improved. The manufacturing method comprises: (A) preparing primary polymerizing solvent by dissolving 0.01-50 wt.% transition metal complex with inorganic salts and halogen, or 3A,4A,5A or 6A halide and tert-amine in organic solvent; (B) dissolving 0.01-30 wt.% aromatic diamine in prim. polymerizing solvent; (C) polymerizing anisotropic gell by adding aromatic diacid chloride; and (D) cleaving the (C) polymer in the water containing 0-30 wt.% polym. solvent or in 0-20 % alkali solution. The pref. organic solvent is one or mixture of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, N,N-dimethylacetamide, hexamethylphosphoamide, N,N,N',N'-tetramethylurea, N,N-dimethylformamide, and dimethylsulfoxide.
