    • PURPOSE: A thermoplastic propellant molding apparatus is provided to reduce the molding time and to manufacture the thermoplastic propellant of a desired quality by maintaining a vacuum condition with heating and pressurizing to the thermoplastic propellant chip. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic propellant molding apparatus comprises an encapsulated type cylinder(10), a heat transferring unit, a pressurizing unit, a vacuum pump, a controlling unit, and a sensor unit. The encapsulated type cylinder maintains a vacuum condition with accommodating thermoplastic propellant chip(110). The heat transferring device unit fuses the thermoplastic propellant chip by heating the encapsulated type cylinder. The presser portion applies pressure to the encapsulated type cylinder to mold the thermoplastic propellant chip to an intended shape. The vacuum pump provides vacuum to the encapsulated type cylinder. The controlling unit respectively controls the temperature, pressure, and degree of vacuum of the encapsulated type cylinder inside according to the composition of thermoplastic propellant chip. The sensor unit comprises a vacuum sensor, a pressure sensor, and a temperature sensor.

    • PURPOSE: A discharge valve for mixing and filling is provided to prevent inflow of gunpowder to valve element or leak of gunpowder by including bellows on outer circumference of a valve shaft. CONSTITUTION: A discharge valve for mixing and filling(1) comprises a housing(10) which includes a gunpowder inlet port(11) and a gunpowder outlet(12), a valve shaft(20) which moves along the central axis line in straight line within the housing, and a bellows(30) which is arranged to be separated from the outer circumference of the valve shaft. In one end of the valve shaft, a plug(21) which is in contact with a vent located in a scrambler(50) is installed. The other end is combined with a boss portion(22). One end of the bellows comes in contact with the plug, and the other end comes in contact with the boss portion. O-ring(28) is combined with the outer circumference of the boss portion or the plug in order to prevent inflow of the gunpowder. The bellows is formed with polytetrafluoroethylene material.
