摘要： A method for establishing a DNS(Domain Name Service) for wireless Internet services is provided to improve the quality of wireless Internet services by transmitting a DNS query about a specific URL to the DNS servers connected to a PDSN(Packet Data Service Node), confirming states of the DNS servers through their response information, and transmitting a PPP(Point-to-Point Protocol) message, which includes the address information of DNS servers for a PPP connection request of an MS(Mobile Station), to the MS. A PDSN transmits a state confirmation message to connected DNS servers, DNS #1 and DNS #2,, and judges whether response messages are received from them(S300,S302). If a response message is received only from DNS #2, the PDSN registers DNS #1 as an abnormal DNS server and DNS #2 as a normal DNS server in a database(S304). Then, if a PPP connection request is received from an MS through a PCF(Packet Control Function)/BSC(Base Station Controller), the PDSN creates a PPP message in order to deliver DNS server address information. In this case, the PDSN sets the address information of DNS #2 as primary and the address information of DNS #1 as secondary and transmits the PPP message to the MS(S308).
