    • PURPOSE: A small vending machine with a coin identifying means operates only with a predetermined coin by identifying inputted coins. CONSTITUTION: A small vending machine includes an upper case (10) and a lower case (20). The upper case includes a coin input hole (11), a coin leading hole (12), and a coin movement leading surface (13). The coin input holes block the larger coins by being punched in the size of a predetermined coin on the outer peripheral surface. The coin leading hole is punched to carry the inputted coin from one point to the lower side by being connected to the inside of the coin input hole. The coin movement leading surface makes the center part be inclined to move the coins inputted to the coin input hole to the coin leading hole. The lower case includes a coin storage part (21), a product discharge path (22), and a smaller coin discharge path (23). The coin storage part stores the inputted coins in the space. The product discharge part discharges a product at one side of the coin storage part. The smaller coin discharge path discharges the coins to the lower side when the coin inputted to the center part of the coin storage part is smaller than the predetermined coin.

The chord measurement process is to measure the length of two chords of two different lines when the coins rolls on the first and the second sensors(S1,S2). The identification process is to identify a size of coin by using the measured length of the chords of the different lines.
