摘要： A headend system for a DCAS service including an AP server and an operation method thereof are provided to determine the access validity of the DCAS host by generating an identical session key by authenticating the AP server and the DCAS host. An AP(Authentication Proxy) server receives authentication basic information from a host(160). The AP server delivers authentication basic data to an external authentication device(120) authenticating the DCAS host. The AP server shares a session key sharing factor generated in the external authentication device with the DCAS host. The AP server generates the session key for encoding and decoding a security module client image by using the session key sharing element.
