    • A suspension system for a vehicle is provided to instantly lower a roll center on bumping only and reduce variation of wheel tread, thereby increasing ride comfort and drive stability. A suspension system for a vehicle includes a wheel carrier, an upper control arm, a lower control arm(8), a coil spring, and a shock absorber. The wheel carrier rotatably supports a wheel. The upper control arm connects an upper part of the wheel carrier to a vehicle body. The lower control arm connects a lower part of the wheel carrier to the vehicle body. The lower control arm is divided into a wheel side arm(10) and a vehicle body side arm and connected to each other using a hinge to form a signal lower control arm. Hooking thresholds(16,18) opposite to each other are formed to suppress rotation of the hinge part on rebounding.
