    • PURPOSE: A plasma separation apparatus is provided to enable air to pass a downstream chamber through an air channel and to sweep plasma from the downstream of a filter when negative pressure is formed in the downstream channel. CONSTITUTION: A plasma separation comprises a filter and a housing. The filter has an upstream surface(651) and a downstream surface(652). The filter comprises a microporous membrane. The housing comprises an inlet, a downstream chamber(202), an outlet(201) and at least one air channel. The housing limits a fluid path between the inlet, the downstream chamber and the outlet. The filter is arranged in the housing while passing through the fluid path. The outlet and the air channel are arranged with a gap. When a negative pressure is generated, air passes through an air channel into the downstream chamber and sweeping plasma from the downstream surface of a filter.

    • PURPOSE: A micro valve element and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the bonding force of an elastic film and two substrates by preventing the permanent bonding phenomenon of the elastic film and a valve sheet. CONSTITUTION: A micro valve element includes a first substrate(11) with a first surface, a second substrate(12) with a second surface, and an elastic film(13). At least one flow path channel(16a) and at least one valve sheet(18) formed in the flow path channel are arranged on the first surface. At least one pneumatic channel(16b) and at least one air chamber(19) are connected and arranged on the second surface. The elastic film is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. The upper side of the valve sheet is lower than the first surface of the first substrate. While a pneumatic pressure is not applied to an air chamber through the pneumatic channel, a gap is secured between the upper side of the valve sheet and the elastic film.

    • PURPOSE: A chip for fluid assay is provided to restrict flow rate in a reaction unit and to enhance reactivity and sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A chip(100) of fluid assay comprises: a chip body(110) having an injection port(121) for inputting fluid; a reaction channel which is branched from the chip body and causes reaction of analytes contained in the fluid; and at least one washing channel(122) which is formed in the chip body and filled with the fluid from the reaction channel. The lower ends of the reaction channel and the washing channel are formed of an open end and closed end, respectively. The fluid assay chip further comprises at least one separation plate. At least one absorption pad is inserted in the chip to absorb or move the fluid to the washing channel.
