    • The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for detecting water leak from a water pipe, which can accurately and rapidly detect water leak from a water pipe. The apparatus for detecting water leak from a water pipe through checking gauges, which are formed at several places along the water pipe buried under the ground to expose some of the water pipe to the outside, comprises a sensor module disposed at one side of the water pipe exposed to the outside through the checking gauge in order to sense leakage and vibration of the water pipe and a terminal receiving information on leakage and vibration measured through the sensor module and grasping a location where water leak occurs in the water pipe, thereby minimizing use of a battery of a leakage sensor and rapidly and accurately grasping the location of water leak by detecting the water leak in real time.

    • PURPOSE: A fibrous filter medium and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent overload by having a large air gap and to effectively remove contaminants, such as heavy metals. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a fibrous filter medium(100) comprises the steps of: cotton mixing by mixing two or more different types of yarns to form a web; needle punching by using a barb to mold a fabric having a stereoscopic air gap structure; thermally fusing by heating up to 90 to 160°C, followed by cutting so as to have a predetermined shape of a pallet form; and coating a manganese oxide. The two or more different types of yarns include a first yarn(110) constructing a fibrous filter medium after the thermal fussion and a second yarn(120) that is melted by heating and fused with the first yarn at a liquid phase.

    • PURPOSE: A protection structure for an ecological reserve and a reservoir structure using the same are provided to protect an ecological reserve at the edge of a reservoir even if a water level rises. CONSTITUTION: A protection structure for an ecological reserve comprises an ecological reserve(30) and an ecological dam(100). The ecological reserve forms a wetland or land at an auxiliary dam(20) and is submerged at a main dam(10). The ecological dam surrounds the ecological reserve to prevent the ecological reserve from becoming submerged at a higher water level than the water level of the auxiliary dam. The ecological dam has a height higher than the auxiliary dam and lower than the main dam.

    • A system for the removal of contaminants in rainwater using an upflow filtration tank is provided to remove reliably fine particles with a particle size of 100 mum or less by using the upflow filtration tank and a porous buoyant filtering material, and maximally remove particulate contaminants contained in the rainwater by treating a large quantity of initial rainwater and preventing easy clogging of a filtering part due to the accumulation of contaminants. A system for the removal of contaminants in rainwater using an upflow filtration tank comprises: a storage tank(4) installed on an end portion of a rain inflow pipe(2) to store rainwater at all times; an upflow filtration tank(6) in which a porous buoyant filtering material is filled, and which filters contaminants by guiding rainwater comprising contaminant particles flown over the storage tank, thereby forming an upflow in the rainwater; a first baffle(22) which is vertically installed in a state that the first baffle is spaced apart from the bottom of a front part of the storage tank as much as a predetermined height to reduce a turbulent phenomenon generated by influent flown in from the rain inflow pipe; a second baffle(24) which is vertically installed at a predetermined height from the bottom of the storage tank and spaced apart from the first baffle to prevent influent that has passed through a part under the first baffle from excessively flowing into the upflow filtration tank; a discharge top plate(8) which is installed on a top part of the upflow filtration tank, and which guides filtered water passing through the upflow filtration tank and overflown water flowing over the storage tank to the treated water discharge side; and a treated water tank(12) installed in rear of the upflow filtration tank to store the filtered water before filtered water flowing along the discharge top plate is discharged to a discharge pipe.
