    • PURPOSE: A method of extracting hydroxy aromatic compounds from mixture thereof is provided, which can effectively extracting certain hydroxy aromatic compound such as catechol, hydroquinone and p-benzoquinone with improved yield and purity, by using each different boiling point and solubility to a certain solvent. CONSTITUTION: The method of separating a mixture of hydroxy aromatic compounds including catechol, hydroquinone and p-benzoquinone comprises subsequent application of a vacuum distillation method, which uses the intrinsic boiling point of each compound, and a fractional dissolution method, which uses the difference in solubility to a certain solvent, wherein catechol is separated first by the vacuum distillation, and then hydroquinone and p-benzoquinone are separated by the fractional dissolution, and wherein the solvent is at least one selected from benzene, toluene and xylene.

    • PURPOSE: A precursor for preparing a copper thin-film in chemical vapor deposition method is provided, thereby preparing an organic copper divalent compound having improved volatility and deposition, so that high purity and quality of copper thin-film can be prepared. CONSTITUTION: The precursor for preparing a copper thin-film in chemical vapor deposition method is divalent copper compound of formula (1), wherein R and R1 is C1-C6 alkyl or benzyl; A is alkyl or alkoxy; and L is ethylenediamine(R1R2NCH2CH2NR3R4). The method for preparing the divalent copper compound of formula (1) comprises the steps of: reacting divalent copper chloride with beta-diketone or beta-ketoester of which alpha site has alkyl in solvent at 0 deg. C for 2 to 6 hours to prepare a divalent copper compound; removing sodium chloride as a side-product to prepare pure divalent copper compound; and dissolving the divalent copper compound in hydrocarbon solution, adding ethylenediamine as a Lewis base capable of supplying a pair of noncovalent electrons into the divalent copper solution, and stirring the mixture at room temperature for 2 hours to remove solvent and unreacted ethylenediamine.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing low viscosity methoxy methyl melamine resin by simple process without separate equipments. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (i) reacting a melamine and a para-formaldehyde in the presence of methanol under acidic condition to prepare a partially methyl etherified methylol melamine(methyl etherifying step); (ii) further reacting an unreacted imino group(-NH-) with a para-formaldehyde; (iii) removing a solvent; (iv) performing the second methyl etherifying step; (v) adjusting a pH of reaction system to 8.5-11.5 and removing a solvent under reduced pressure to substantially remove a remaining methanol, water and unreacted paraformaldehyde; (vi) performing the third methyl etherifying step; and (vii) adjusting a pH of reaction system to 8.0-10.0 and removing a solvent under reduced pressure to substantially remove a remaining methanol, water and unreacted paraformaldehyde, so that solids of the obtained resin are to be at least 98%.
