    • PURPOSE: A scheduling device in a CDMA mobile communication system is provided to perform an EUDCH(Enhanced Uplink Dedicated transport Channel) service under an optimal wireless environment even though scheduling commands are received from plural active base stations, by locating a mobile station in a soft handover area, thereby improving data receiving performance. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station receives a scheduling approval value and a maximum permit data rate from active nodes(1010). The mobile station calculates a threshold value(1012). The mobile station generates a uniform distribution random variable(1014), and compares the generated uniform distribution random variable with the threshold value(1016). If the uniform distribution random variable is smaller than the threshold value, the mobile station does not transmit an EUDCH packet. If the distribution random variable is bigger, the mobile station calculates a maximum permit data rate(1018). The mobile station determines a data rate(1020), and transmits the EUDCH packet by the determined data rate(1022).

The RNC(702) can detect a type of the terminal(703) through an RRC message(705) called UE capability information and knows information on the total transmission power of the terminal(703) through UE power class information included in the terminal type information. When EUDCH service starts, the RNC(701) sends the total transmission power information of the terminal(703) to a Node B(702). The Node B(702) obtains the total transmission power information(706) of the terminal(703) and current transmission power information(704), and thus, obtains information on remaining transmission power of the terminal(703). Thus, an effective and optimized scheduling can be made.

If not, the SPH determines padding length by the difference between the TBS for the predetermined TBS index and the data amount(709). The SPH determines an 'm' value, a TBS index value, and padding length for finally transmitted data(710).

CONSTITUTION: An input bit stream made up of unit input bits Mk are inputted to the second constitution coder(703) through the first constitution coder(702) and an interleaver(701). The first constitution coder(702) codes each input bit Mk according to a certain coding rate and outputs the first TT(Trellis Termination) bit stream together with a coding bit stream. The second constitution coder(703) codes each input bit(X'k) which has been interleaved and provided form the interleaver(701) according to a certain coding rate and outputs a second TT bit stream together with coding bit streams. The first TT bit stream and the second TT bit stream are provided to a TT bit distributor(716). Multiplexers(704-708) receive outputs of the first constitution coder(702) and the second constitution coder(703) and the TT bits by the unit of TT bit group from the TT bit distributor(716) and provided as many as corresponding to the number of coding bit streams outputted according to a mother coding rate. The coding bit streams with multiplexed TT bits are inputted to corresponding RM(Rate Matching) unit(710-713). The RM units(710-713) determine coding bit streams to be repeated or punched among the coding bit streams received from the multiplexers(705-708) on the basis of the number of repletion or punch bits assigned to themselves, respectively. A bit collector(714) punches or repeats the bits which have been determined to be repeated or punched by the RM units(709-713) and outputs bits as many as the transmission bits.

The UE adjusts a transmission time according to the determined result.
