The situation detecting unit detects frequencies and sound pressure occurred when a specific situation stored in the memory. The control unit determines whether the specific situation is generated in the vehicle or not.

    • A system and a method for monitoring and controlling an electric machine by using a DTMF communication scheme are provided to perform real-time control and monitoring for various electric machines or lifting installations at a small outlay by smoothly transmitting and receiving a great quantity of operation control information data, required to monitor and control the operation of an electric machine, through a DTMF signal in real time. A CPU in a lifter-side terminal, if lifter operation information is inputted through an input port, compares previous data and new data for every item of the inputted lifter operation information(60,61). If modified data exist, the CPU stores the modified data in a Tx DB and sequentially inputs the stored data to a DTMF generator(63). Also, for a time interval when modified data do not exist, the CPU extracts operation control information for backup, creates Tx data, and inputs the created Tx data to the Tx DB(65,66). The DTMF generator converts the inputted Tx data into a DTMF signal according to the control of the CPU(67). The CPU forwards the created DTMF signal to a correspondent terminal or a host through a ring connection(68,69).
