    • A multi-band antenna system is provided to enhance the operation performance of the antenna at respective frequency bands by tuning a resonance frequency at a communication frequency. A multi-band antenna system includes a resonance frequency selector(10), a switching unit(20), and a high-frequency selector(30). The resonance frequency selector tunes the resonance frequency of the antenna to a communication frequency band by controlling first and second frequency select signals. The first frequency select signal is used to select one of high and low frequency bands. The second frequency select signal is used to select one of finely-tuned high frequency bands. The switching unit selects one of the high and low frequency bands based on the first frequency select signal. When the high frequency band is selected, the high-frequency selector manipulates antenna conductors to adjust a length of the antenna based on the second frequency select signal such that one of the finely-tuned high frequency bands is selected.

    • An antenna device with a variable resonance frequency is provided to simplify an overall structure of the antenna device by supplying an operation voltage through connection pins in an inner space of the antenna device. An antenna device with a variable resonance frequency includes a main body(21), a first radiating unit(25a), a second radiating unit(25b), a switching element(27), and a voltage application pin(29). The main body includes a dielectric material or a magnetic material. The first radiating unit is formed on a surface of the main body. A power feeding pin is connected to the first radiating unit. The second radiating unit is formed on a surface which is different from the surface of the main body. The switching element is formed on the main body, so that the switching element is connected between the first and second radiating units. The voltage application pin is electrically coupled with the switching element. The voltage application pin is elongated downward through an inner space of the main body.

In a multiband chip antenna for a mobile communication terminal, a first radial member(10) has a pattern(11) to set a basic resonance frequency. An inductor member(20) has an inductor feed point formed on one side of an inductor pattern. A second radial member(30) has a pattern(31) to control bandwidth of the basic resonance frequency. A capacitor member(40) has a protrusion and a separate space formed on one side of the capacitor member(40), and a feed point formed on an other side of the capacitor member(40).
