    • PURPOSE: A dimming data generating device for a large size LED electronic display board is provided to minimize a hardware cost while using an existing PPWM(Probability based Pulse Width Modulation) structure. CONSTITUTION: A shift register(110) periodically generates a random pattern including 0 and 1. A probability generator(120) receives 0 and 1 randomly generated at the shift register for generating multiple probability values. A first multiplexer(130) selects 2 probability values between multiple probability values. A second multiplexer(140) selects one probability value between the 2 probability values selected by the first multiplexer.
