    • PURPOSE: A magnetic resonance imaging system for adjusting a stance of a magnet is provided to suppress an adverse effect in an image adjustment process by adjusting the stance of the magnet. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging system includes a magnet and a supporting unit. The magnet(145) is used for inducing the static magnetic field necessary for magnetic resonance imaging. The supporting unit(250a,250b,250c) supports the magnet and stands on a placement surface. The supporting unit includes a stance adjustment unit and an attenuator. The stance adjustment unit adjusts a stance of the magnet. The attenuator is used for attenuating a vibration applied through the placement surface.
