The variable hydraulic piston pump is operated by the rotator of the hydraulic retarder, and pumps the hydraulic pressure of the oil tank. The pressure storage unit stores the pressure of oil pumped by the hydraulic piston pump. The hydraulic motor is operated by the fluid stored by the pressure storage unit. The cooling fan rotates according to the hydraulic motor.     • To suppress the overall length of a camshaft including the length of a decompression device provided in an engine and also to suppress an increase in number of parts of the decompression device. Disclosed herein is an engine including a decompression device (41) having a decompression weight (42) pivotably supported through a pivot shaft (48) to a camshaft (25) and adapted to be rotated at a predetermined angle by a centrifugal force generated during the rotation of the camshaft. A weight accommodating portion (47) for pivotably accommodating the decompression weight (42) is formed between the opposite end portions of the camshaft (25). The outer diameter of the decompression device (41) mounted to the camshaft (25) is smaller than that of a ball bearing (27). The decompression weight (42) is directly engaged with one end of a decompression camshaft (43) to thereby rotate the decompression camshaft (43).

    • A cooling fan drive system for a bus is provided to realize a new driving system, in which an electronic control type magnetic fan clutch is integrally installed to a gear box, such that power transmission efficiency of a radiator and the fan is enhanced. A cooling fan drive system for a bus comprises a crankshaft pulley coupled to a crankshaft of an engine, an idler pulley(13) disposed on the same level with the crankshaft pulley, a cooling module, and a driving shaft(18). The driving shaft includes a shaft member(19), flange members(21a,21b) coupled to a housing(20a) of the idler pulley and a housing(20b) of a gear box(17), respectively, and a constant velocity joint(22). The constant velocity joint is positioned at the inside of the flange members and assembled with the shaft member. The idler pulley includes a plurality of rubber insulator to reduce vibration transmitted from the engine.
