    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing highly absorbent resin and a method for manufacturing highly absorbent resin using the same are provided to effectively eliminate remaining moisture by increasing the surface area of polymer. CONSTITUTION: Two or more rotary shafts(1) is prepared. A belt(2) is installed between the rotary shafts and moves to constant direction based on the rotation of the rotary shafts. Lateral side protrusions(6) are arranged at both sides of the belt at 30 to 70 degrees angle of the horizontal bottom side of the belt. A supplying part(3) injects monomer compositions to the horizontal bottom side of the belt. An irradiating part(4) irradiates heat or light to the injected monomer compositions. A moisture containing gel phase-polymer discharging part(5) is further prepared.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing polyglutarimide is provided, to improve heat resistance and optical properties of polyglutarimide by allowing the unreacted one and the side product to be removed easily by using a supercritical fluid. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of imidating an acryl resin; and contacting the obtained product with a supercritical fluid to extract the unreacted one and the side product. Also the method comprises the steps of imidating an acryl resin; alkylating the obtained product; and contacting the obtained product with a supercritical fluid to extract the unreacted one and the side product. Preferably the supercritical fluid is carbon dioxide and the content is 0.1-50 wt% based on the weight of an acryl resin or polyglutarimide. Preferably the extraction is carried out at a temperature of 180-300 deg.C.
