    • A regenerative braking system of a fuel cell vehicle using a super capacitor is provided to improve brake performance and energy storage efficiency by preventing overcharge of the super capacitor during regenerative braking of the fuel cell vehicle. A super capacitor(100) is electrically connected to a stack(2) of a fuel cell vehicle and charged by the stack. A driving motor(200) is supplied with power from the stack or both the stack and the super capacitor to drive the fuel cell vehicle and supplies power generated by regenerative braking to the super capacitor. A motor control unit(300) controls power input and output of the driving motor. A chopper(400) is switched on/off to limit charge voltage of the super capacitor when the fuel cell vehicle performs braking on a flat or downhill road. A braking resistor(500) is connected to the chopper and the super capacitor and consumes energy, regenerated by the driving motor during braking of the fuel cell vehicle, as heat to function as an auxiliary brake. A hybrid control unit switches on the chopper to control overcharge of the super capacitor when the charge voltage stored in the super capacitor exceeds a limit value and switches off the chopper to prevent loss when the charge voltage drops below the limit value.
