    • An apparatus and a method for grinding the edge of a panel are disclosed. The apparatus for grinding the edge of a panel comprises a grinding wheel which grinds the edge of a panel by rotating around a specific rotary shaft; a megasonic nozzle which jets a grinding fluid in order to wash the outer surface of the grinding wheel; and a controller which controls the operation of the megasonic nozzle. The apparatus removes foreign materials, such as aluminum (AL) caught between the particles of the grinding wheel during the grinding process, by allowing the megasonic nozzle to jet the grinding fluid to the outer surface of the grinding wheel after grinding. Therefore, panel particles (foreign materials) stuck on the grinding wheel during the grinding process can be washed, and the desired grinding quality can be obtained by improving the grinding capacity of the grinding wheel. The processing portion is cut and the disk glass is cut into multiple cells. A grinding pattern in which a grinding portion and a window glass portion are divided with the laser beam in the outer circumference of each cell is formed. The protective film of the grinding portion is removed. An outer edge and a cross section of each cell are beveled.
