    • An adhesive composition and an optical filter manufactured by using the same are provided to improve the durability and far infrared rays-shielding performances of a PDP filter. An adhesive composition comprises 100 parts by weight of an adhesive resin, 0.5-4.0 parts by weight of at least one pigment component, 5-50 parts by weight of a polymer resin for protecting the pigment, 0.1-1 parts by weight of a curing agent and 200-400 parts by weight of a solvent. Preferably, the adhesive resin is an acrylic resin, and the pigment component comprises at least one dimonium-based pigment compound. In the adhesive composition, the pigment component further comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of phthalocyanine, naphthalocyanine and nickel dithiol. The pigment component optionally comprises a polymethine-based compound.
