    • PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for preparing an irregular-shaped composite false twisted yarn by simultaneously processing two or more yarns different in thermal characteristic without causing deterioration in physical properties are provided. Therefore, the method permits a composite false twisted yarn of two-tone color to be produced in high productivity with a single apparatus. CONSTITUTION: Two or more yarns different in thermal characteristic are passed through two or more heat treatment areas of a different temperature, false twisted and then air textured. For an example, a first yarn which is not heat-sensitive and a second yarn which is heat-sensitive are passed through a roller(1a,1b) and contact type heater(2) in a combined state and further passed though a first heater having a heat treatment area of a different temperature in each separated state. The heat treated yarn is cooled in a cooling plate(4), simultaneously twisted by a twisting means(5) and then air textured by an air texturing means(6).

    • PURPOSE: A method for fabricating an aramid air textured yarn is provided to improve loop stability, uniformity and bulkiness of a textured yarn and to use the textured yarn as an industrial reinforcement material. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating an aramid air textured yarn comprises: a step of feeding aramid filaments as a core yarn(1) by a feed roller in an over feed rate of 5-15%; a step of feeding a polyamide filament of high strength as an effect yarn(2) in an over feed rate of 10-30%; a step of adding water to the core yarn and effect yarn; and a step of performing air-texture at pneumatic pressure of 5-20 kg/cm^2 and winding at 150-130 m/min. The method further comprises thermal treatment at 180-220 Deg. C. after air texture. The fineness of the aramid filament is 840-1500d/665-1000 fila.

    • PURPOSE: Similar hemp fiber is characterized by having appearance and touch like hemp fiber, having excellent moisture absorption, preventing the generation of static electricity and having excellent tensile strength and low elongation. A manufacturing method thereof is characterized by fusing synthetic fiber parts in mixed spun yarn. CONSTITUTION: Similar hemp fiber is obtained by: mixing and spinning natural fiber and synthetic fiber having low melting point to manufacture mixed fiber; and then heating the mixed fiber at 160-220deg.C for 20-60seconds. The natural fiber is selected from the group containing cotton, silk and wool. The synthetic fiber is selected from the group containing polyester fiber and nylon fiber.
