    • PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an electrostatic filter and a method for manufacturing thereof, which use an ion shower method that injects large amount of cations and anions generated by a corona discharge into a filtration member using flow of air and passes the injected ions through a high voltage roller to arrange the ions in a right direction. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an ion shower part and rollers. The ion shower part uniformly generates a corona discharge anode and a corona discharge cathode to evenly inject negative charges and positive charges into an electrostatic filtration member (202). The ion shower part includes HEPA filters (204,212), honeycombs (206,214), a positive discharge electrode (208) and a negative electrode (216). The rollers are disposed on both sides of the electrostatic filtration member. Different polarity of electric field is applied to each of the rollers.

    • A purpose of the present invention is to provide a discharge electrode for an electric precipitator according to the present invention, by optimizing the form of a discharge part to form an electric field distribution favor of a dust collection, to achieve a localization of a discharge electrode as improving a dust collection efficiency compared to the foreign-made.
