    • A dirt separator for a gas turbine air supply is provided to prevent a cooling channel from being clogged by dirt, by removing the large amount of dirt found in a radially outer air flow before air reaches a cooling chamber. A gas turbine engine(120) comprises a housing(140) covering a stationary vane(22) and a rotating rotor; a turbine section including the stationary vane and the rotating rotor, wherein at least one of the stationary vane and the rotating rotor is provided with a radially outer cooling air flow from the position adjacent to a radially outer position in the housing; and a dirt separator(130) arranged in a flow path(26) of the radially outer cooling air flow. The dirt separator operates to remove impurities from the radially outer cooling air flow, and air moving downstream of the dirt separator and at least one of the stationary vane and the rotating rotor carries less impurities.

    • PURPOSE: A method for removing foreign matters from an oil feed pipe of a gas turbine is provided to improve the quality of the product, and to cut down manufacturing cost by preventing generation of foreign matters inside the oil feed pipe and eliminating scale completely. CONSTITUTION: To manufacture an oil feed pipe(20) formed in an inlet casing of a gas turbine, the oil feed pipe is manufactured through the casting process. Chrome sand(22) is charged in the oil feed pipe before the heat treatment of the processed oil feed pipe, and both sides of the oil feed pipe are sealed by using clay(24). The oil feed pipe is processed with the heat when combined with the inlet casing of the gas turbine. Chrome sand is removed from the oil feed pipe, and scale is removed from the oil feed pipe by using a grinding apparatus.
