    • PURPOSE: Provided is an ink composition for forming a spacer, which has a significantly low viscosity and facilitates ink-jet injection. A spacer using the same ink composition and a liquid crystal device using the same spacer are also provided. CONSTITUTION: The ink composition for forming a spacer comprises: (a) 10-70 parts by weight of a polymer emulsion (dry weight basis); (b) 0.1-50 parts by weight of an anti-drying agent; and (c) 20-90 parts by weight of a solvent. Particularly, the polymer emulsion is selected from the group consisting of an acrylic emulsion, a urethane acrylic emulsion, an epoxy acrylic emulsion, a polyester acrylic emulsion and a mixture thereof. The anti-drying agent is at least one selected from the group consisting of glycols, glycerin, ethers of polyhydric alcohols, acetates of polyhydric alcohols, thioglycols and amino acids.

    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing an ink composition for stencil printing is provided, to prevent the ink from being penetrated to the back side of the printed paper, thereby improving the quality of the printed image. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of by adding 61 g of the aqueous system to 39 g of the oil system slowly to mix them to emulsify the oil system and the aqueous system for obtaining the oil/water emulsion, wherein the oil system is prepared by premixing 180 g of a linseed oil, 40 g of channel carbon black and 5 g of polyoxyethylene alkylphenol ether, dispersing the mixture to 200-300 nm by using dynomill, and adding 60 g of a phenol modified resin, 70 g of rosin modified alkyd resin and 35 g of sorbitan monostearate to the dispersion and mixing the mixture for 2 hours; and the aqueous system is prepared by mixing 51 g of water, 3 g of an acrylamide-diacetone acrylamide with a mass average molecular weight of 10,000 and 7 g of ethylene glycol.
