    • PURPOSE: An antenna using a Hilbert curve slot is provided to insert many lines into a small area by using a third Hilbert curve slot as a filtering device. CONSTITUTION: A Hilbert curve antenna(2000) comprises a dielectric substrate(2100), a light emitting unit(2200), a feeding unit(2300), and a Hilbert curve slot(2400). The light emitting unit, the feeding unit, and the Hilbert curve slot are formed on the dielectric substrate. The feeding unit includes two earths and a power feeding center(2310) located between the earths. The feeding unit supplies electro magnetic energy to the light emitting unit. The light emitting unit receives and transmits electric waves. The Hilbert curve slot filters the electric waves of a specific frequency band.

    • There is provided a low-cost wide band antenna having an ultra-wide band and high performance. The wide band antenna includes an antenna element to form a shape of a ridge waveguide open cross-section structure together with GND (10) when it is spread. The antenna element has a ridge element portion (13) corresponding to the ridge portion of the ridge waveguide and a radiation element portion (14) corresponding to the wall of the ridge waveguide and extending from the ridge element portion (13) for electromagnetic wave radiation. Moreover, the antenna element has an opposing auxiliary element (12) having the same shape and structure as the ridge element portion (13). The radiation element portion (14) has an end arranged on the GND (10). The ridge element portion (13) has a tip end connected to a power supply terminal (100).

    • A multi-band microwave antenna which is resonant and radiant at a high frequency band and at one or more lower frequency bands includes an electrically-conductive ground plane (103) on one face of a dielectric substrate (101); an electrically conductive strip line on the opposite face of the dielectric substrate; a curved slot (104) formed in the ground plane having a feed side (105) electromagnetically coupled to the feed end of the strip line, and a load side electromagnetically coupled to the load end of the strip line, such that the slot is resonant and radiant at the high frequency band; and a further electrical conductor (110) electrically connected to the ground plane to serve as a continuation thereof at the load side of the slot and electromagnetically coupled to the slot at the lower frequency bands such as to cause the slot to be resonant and radiant also at the lower frequency band or bands.
