    • A method for preparing a membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell is provided to form the membrane-electrode assembly easily, and to minimize deformation of a polymer electrolyte membrane during the production process. A method for preparing a membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell includes the steps of: (S1) forming a cathode catalyst layer on one surface of an electrode substrate for a cathode electrode to form a cathode electrode; (S2) uniting the cathode electrode with a polymer electrolyte membrane; (S3) forming an anode catalyst layer by applying an anode catalyst layer composition onto the other surface of the polymer electrolyte membrane out of contact with the cathode electrode; and (S4) joining an electrode substrate for an anode electrode to the polymer electrolyte membrane having the anode catalyst layer to form an anode electrode.
