    • The present invention relates to a buckle structure formation technique for improving an optical extraction rate when light generated by a light emitting layer of a flexible organic light emitting device is extracted outside the device. The present invention forms a buckle structure autonomously and spontaneously with the thermally contracted shapes of an EL layer and a cathode layer using the difference between the thermal expansion coefficients of the EL layer and the cathode layer by thermally depositing and cooling a metal cathode in a process of manufacturing an FOLED having a PEDOT:PSS anode on a flexible substrate. This buckle structure can improve the outcoupling efficiency of a FOLED device.

CONSTITUTION: A light emitting layer(104) and an electron generating layer(105), which include a luminescent material, are laminated. The first hole generating layer and the second hole generating layer are inserted between an anode(101) and a cathode(106). The first hole generating layer and the second hole generating layer are laminated on an insulator(100) such as a substrate and an insulating layer. The anode, the first hole generating layer, the light emitting layer, the electron generating layer, the second hole generating layer, and cathode are successively laminated on the insulator.
