    • PURPOSE: An ECU monitoring system and method detects system noise at an input part of ECU and generates a corresponding stable output, and thus prevent ECU malfunction due to unpredicted system noise. CONSTITUTION: An ECU monitoring system (100) comprises an ECU, a storage unit (40), a comparison unit (50), and a circulator (60). The ECU comprises an input interface unit (10), a computer unit (20), and an output interface unit (30). The storage unit stores a normal input signal among the input signal inputted to the input interface unit whenever it is inputted, and stores a normal output signal outputted from the computer part whenever it is outputted. The comparison unit compares a current input signal inputted to the input interface unit with the previous input signal stored in the storage unit, and produces a comparison difference, and if the comparison difference is not within a configured range, then an announcement signal informing that the current input signal is an abnormal input signal. If the output signal is a normal output signal, then the circulator provides the output signal of the computer unit as input signal, but it provides the stored normal output signal stored at the storage unit, instead of the output signal of the computer unit outputted correspondingly to the abnormal input signal, to the output interface unit if the circular receives the announcement signal from the comparison unit.
