A hollow type composite pier contains a concrete body(1) having an empty hollow portion, axial main reinforcements(2) arranged on the concrete body in the axial direction, hoop reinforcements(3) as core restraining reinforcements arranged on the concrete body in the horizontal direction, a steel pipe(4) such as a circular pipe or a corrugated pipe installed to the inside of the hollow portion of the concrete body to integrate with the concrete body, an L-shaped shear connector(4a) placed on the outer circumference of the steel pipe to restrain the concrete body for the composite behavior of the steel pipe and the concrete body, and a steel pipe supporter installed on the lower part of the steel pipe to regulate the height and horizontality of a steel pipe. Hereon the steel pipe supporter contains a plate type mount bracket coupled to the bottom of the steel pipe, a screw shaft installed via the mount bracket and provided with a screw thread, a steel pipe support fixed with the bottom of the screw shaft, a control nut screwed on the screw shaft and coupled to the lower part of the mount bracket, a locking nut screwed on the screw shaft and coupled to the upper part of the mount bracket, and a stiffening bracket placed between the mount bracket and the steel pipe to reinforce the binding strength of the mount bracket and the steel pipe.

    • PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for connecting corrugated pipes are provided to continuously connect the corrugated pipes to each other by separately forming a coupling flange at an end of the corrugated pipes. CONSTITUTION: A flange(1) and corrugated pipes are conveyed into a working field. The flange(1) is coupled to each coupling part of the corrugated pipes by rotating the flange(1). A packing(5) is interposed between corrugated pipes. A fixing bolt(6) is screw-coupled into a coupling hole(4) formed in the flange(1). Then, a nut is coupled to the fixing bolt(6) to fasten the fixing bolt(6). The flange(1) is coupled to both ends of the corrugated pipe which is coated with resin. Since a protrusion(3) is formed in an inner portion of the flange(1), the flange(1) can be easily coupled to a corrugated slot formed in the corrugated pipe.

    • PURPOSE: Joining structure of a flange for a corrugated steel pipe having dual coated HDPE(High Density Poly Ethylene) is provided to shorten the working process and to enhance workability remarkably by melting HDPE between an HDPE flange and a corrugated steel pipe. CONSTITUTION: A dual coating sheet layer(11) of HDPE is coated by performing melting process. A galvanized steel plate having dual coating structure is molded to a spiral corrugated steel pipe(10) by a molding device. A joint portion of the corrugated steel pipe is inserted into a flange portion(13) of a flange molded by press extrusion. HDPE fills a space between bonding portions(14,15) of the flange and the coating sheet layer outside the corrugated steel pipe. Thereby, a clearance is not formed between the inside of the flange and the coating sheet layer of the corrugated steel pipe. The flange is bonded to the outside of the corrugated steel pipe with watertightness. A connecting portion(16) of the flange is closely adhered to the end of the corrugated steel pipe by a bolt(18). The spiral corrugated steel pipe is kept watertight perfectly. The connecting portion is prevented from transform by a reinforcement(17) formed on the connecting portion of the flange when the flange is connected by the bolt.
