    • A waterproof asphalt coating composition is provided to show excellent physical properties and fast curing rate in water, and to ensure strong adhesion to an adherend, good elongation, and superior flexibility. A waterproof asphalt coating composition includes asphalt, a rubber-based compound, and water dispersion. The water dispersion is obtained by the steps of: mixing polyol with dimethylol propionic acid; mixing the mixture with an isocyanate compound in the presence of a reaction catalyst to form prepolymer; thereto adding triethylamine as a neutralizer to neutralize a COOH group of dimethylol propionic acid; thereto adding at least one monomer selected from epoxy and acryl as a diluent to obtain neutralized and diluted prepolymer; charging the prepolymer into high-speed stirring water to perform a water dispersion step, wherein at least one chain extender selected from epoxy-based and acrylic chain extenders is added during the water dispersion step, and the admixture is stirred to synthesize a water-dispersible polyurethane hybrid emulsion; and polymerizing the water-dispersible polyurethane hybrid emulsion with unsaturated polymer resin.
