    • PURPOSE: An ink cartridge is provided to stably feed ink from an ink chamber to a negative pressure generating chamber by preventing communication hole formed in an intermediate wall from being clogging. CONSTITUTION: An ink cartridge(100) includes a body(110) having three ink chambers(160) for storing ink therein. Each of three ink chambers(160) formed in the body(110) is divided into an ink chamber(160a) and a negative pressure generating chamber(160b) by means of a partition wall(183). The negative pressure generating chamber(160b) has a negative pressure generating medium(184). A filter(171) is positioned between the negative pressure generating medium(184) and an ink feeding port(128) of an ink feeding section(125). The filter(171) is positioned at an upper portion of a stand pipe(129).

    • PURPOSE: An ink cartridge and a method for regulating flow of fluid are provided to discharge ink from the ink cartridge at high speed with a recording head by decreasing flow resistance around the through hole. CONSTITUTION: An ink cartridge is formed by a frame(2) and covers(3,4) sealing openings of the frame, and composed of an ink storage region, an ink supply port(5) communicated with the ink storage region and a negative pressure generating mechanism(30) opening for discharging ink. The negative pressure generating mechanism is placed between the ink storage region and the ink supply port, and composed of an ink supply passage forming member(6) including an opening part(7) communicated with the ink supply port and an elastic valve member(20) contacted with and separated from a through-hole(12) by receiving pressure in the ink supply port side. Ink flowing via the through-hole is supplied to the ink supply port.

The ink cartridge is provided with the ink blocking part (149) and the storage part, so that suppression of ink evaporation is maximized, and the air inflow passageways maintaining a negative pressure are prevented from being clogged with flowing-back ink caused by shocks or movements of a printer during carrying of the printer or an external temperature rise, or with an inflow of minute dust and so on.

    • PURPOSE: An ink cartridge is provided to improve reliability of an article and to stably exhaust ink by preventing an air inlet route from being clogged even if ink fine particles are introduced into the air inlet route. CONSTITUTION: An ink cartridge(100) includes a body(110) having three ink storing chambers. Each ink storing chamber of the body(110) is divided into an ink chamber and a foam chamber. An ink feeding port(118) is formed at a lower portion of the foam chamber. A sealing section(120) is provided at an upper portion of the body(110) in order to seal three ink storing chambers. The sealing section(120) is coupled to the body(110) through a fixing protrusion. The sealing member(120) includes a plate formed with three air inlet holes and three ink injection holes for injecting ink into the ink storing chambers.
