    • PURPOSE: A carbon sulfur composite is provided to have improved capacity because sulfur is uniformly dispersed in a carbon ball and to have stable lifetime property because an electrode structure is not collapsed even if the sulfur is converted into a liquid phase in charging and discharging process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a carbon sulfur composite comprises: a step of preparing a hard carbon ball; a step of mixing the hard carbon ball and sulfur; a step of dipping sulfur into the hard carbon ball by heat-treating the carbon ball and sulfur mixture at a first temperature; a step of cooling the hard carbon ball to a room temperature; a step of heat-treating the hard carbon ball at a second temperature under constant pressure. The carbon sulfur composite comprises 40-50 weight% of sulfur which is uniformly dispersed from the center part to the surface of a particle.

    • PURPOSE: A Lithium sulfur battery is provided to have reliability and safety by comprising solid polymer electrolyte in perfect solid state not comprising liquid phase. CONSTITUTION: A Lithium sulfur battery comprises a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode active material, and solid electrolyte comprising a lithium salt, a polymer, filler, and Li2S. In the solid electrolyte, a content of Li2S is 1-10 mole based on 100.0 mole of the polymer. The solid electrolyte is manufactured by hot-pressing the lithium salt, polymer, filler and Li2S. In the solid electrolyte, the filler and Li2S are dispersed in a composite of the polymer and the lithium salt. The polymer is selected from a group consisting of polyethylene oxide, polypropylene oxide, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinylidene fluoride, and combinations thereof.
