    • In the present invention, a transmitting apparatus and method and a receiving apparatus and method for providing a 3D service are disclosed. In a transmitting method for providing a 3D service through a connection with a reference image transmitted in real time and additional image and content transmitted separately from the reference image, the transmitting method for providing the 3D service comprises: a real time reference image stream generating step of generating a real time reference image stream on the basis of a reference image and transmitting the generated image stream to a recipient in real time; and an additional image and content transmitting step of transmitting, to the recipient and separately from the reference image stream, additional images and content for providing a 3D service through a connection with the reference image.
