    • PURPOSE: A method for injecting coolant into the bottom part of blast furnace is provided to improve productivity and perform safe operation by injecting the coolant thereinto during operation of the blast furnace as well as stopping of the blast furnace, thereby preventing degradation and cooling of the bottom part of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises first step of coupling a heavy oil injection hose(9) to an extension pipe(7) and injecting 22 to 30 kg of heavy oil into the heavy oil injection hose at an injection pressure of 15 to 18 kg/cm¬2 after performing injection preparation work for securing fluidity of heavy oil; second step of coupling a carbon paste injection hose(11) to the extension pipe and injecting 21 kg or less of carbon paste into the carbon paste injection hose at an injection pressure of 18 to 20 kg/cm¬2 after performing injection preparation work for securing fluidity of carbon paste; and third step of coupling the heavy oil injection hose(9) to the extension pipe(7) and injecting 50 to 80 kg of heavy oil into the heavy oil injection hose at an injection pressure of 18 to 20 kg/cm¬2 after performing injection preparation work for securing fluidity of heavy oil so that carbon paste is not stuck to the inside of the extension pipe, wherein an end part of the extension pipe is installed at an upper part of tuyere box(6) onto which seawater is sprayed.
