CONSTITUTION: A burn through time of a present operating condition is calculated with a temperature and negative pressure to be measured by a thermometer and a draft gauge. A flame speed is calculated with the burn through time. An actual burn through point is calculated and a deviation value about a target burn through point is calculated. A speed of a sintering device is calculated by compensating with the deviation value and a parameter. The sintering device is controlled by the compensated speed.

    • PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing sintered ore are provided to prevent ore from being stuck to the inside of the ignition furnace by controlling flame of a direct fired ignition furnace, and reduce fuel consumption by maximizing the combustion efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises controlling films (26a,26b) installed at the both sides of an ignition furnace so that flame of a direct fired burner (23) is guided to a certain direction of a sintering surface layer part for controlling the air which is sucked inside the ignition furnace; and pressure controlling valves (39a,39b) each of which are installed in the first and second suction pipes (37,38) of the lower part of a sintering car for controlling the pressure inside the suction pipes. The method comprises the processes of maintaining a pressure inside a direct fired ignition furnace installed on a sintering car to -3 to -5 mmAq by controlling films (26a,26b) at the ore feeding and discharging sides; and guiding the air so that the upper flame of a burner is widely distributed on a sintering surface layer part as the air sucked is being sucked into the suction pipes by controlling a pressure of a first suction pipe (37) -10 to -15 mmAq higher than that of a second suction pipe (38).
