이와 같은 본 고안은 용수가 공급되면 밸브체가 상승하여 개폐판을 열고 자중체를 돌출시켜 용수의 분사가 이루어지게 되고, 용수의 공급이 중단되면 밸브체가 하강하면서 개폐판이 닫히고 자중체가 하강하면서 밸브체를 감추게 되므로 분수대의 외관이 미려하게 되고, 사용하지 않을때에는 분수노즐위로 통행하게 되더라도 밸브가 손상되지 않고 보호되는 특징이 있다.
